A little something about Meetu Aggarwal and her business.

Having a creative bend from school days, crafting always fascinated her, she loved using different mediums and creating new things. Meetu was introduced to me way back in 2002 by a common friend and she joined my craft classes. Her journey into the paper crafting world restarted in October 2012, when she opened her Facebook account and connected with others in the same field. As she was already comfortable purchasing from international websites and using PayPal, she realized she could get materials at cheaper rates from abroad rather than buying for India at that time. So she started buying for her personal use. That was the time when she got reconnected with me when I was too trying to build my collection.  On my request, she started getting the supplies that tempted me always and that was the starting point for her craft supply business. She did not want to invest right away, so she started getting stuff on pre-orders, where she did not ask for her customers to pay in advance but asked for a commitment that the products ordered will not be canceled. She charged minimum margins and was able to offer better rates. Slowly and steadily her business grew, and in February 2015 she launched her website www.krafterscart.in . She says, she still prefer getting stuff on pre-orders, as that is how she had started her business and most of the crafters loved it too. With "Preorders" she means.....EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING !!  Besides that Meetu stocks a huge range of paper crafting materials such as stamps and dies, mixed media supplies, embellishments, various glues and she manages to run a successful business despite the huge competition in the field. She is currently based in NewZealand and manages to run 2 craft supply businesses successfully....one is in New Zealand itself and the other one in Gurgaon,India.
