Helo all.....!!

Third and the last entry for Justrite Challenge #116. This time I used background stamp..Remember When and created a tag and stuck it on my card base. I kept it quite simple and just gave little distressing at the edges.  Sentiment is from Timely Banners

Loved the clean and yet the elegant and vintage results.

Hope you like this too!!

Hello all!!

I don't know about others but I myself  really get swayed away with others views very easily. While I was about to make my previous entry for Justrite Current Challenge, my daughter came in and was not happy with colors that I have used. According to her I should have used bit brighter shades to match the sentiments.
I gave myself another try on the same stamp and really was very happy with the results. This color combo was suggested by my daughter....so credit goes to her also.

Again used simple techniques of masking and layered stamping and I was done with my card and the stamp set used is same..... Let your soul sing from Justrite collection. This card of mine is making my second entry for Justrite's Current Challenge.

Hope You like this one too!!

Hello...Its CAS Cards at Justrite stampers current challenge.
Now this is a real challenge !!
As you all know I love working with lots of layerings , die-cuts, distressing and adding handmade flowers...CAS is not my style. These days I'm neck deep with my tight schedule of workshops and my pending orders. I am running short of time and on top of that....this challenge putting me out of my comfort zone. My mind wanted to skip but my heart wanted me to try....so the cards I'm entering the current challenge are my creations results of that little confusion and shortage of time  :P

It has always been fun playing with justrite stamps. This time I used Let Your Soul Sing from their collection.
Now, this was my first try....not bad but not satisfied.
Its heat embossing with seafoam white embossing powder and distress inks.

This was my second try....and loved it !!
I have used simple techniques of masking, water splitting and layered stamping.
Love it as it ended but thought adding some small pearls will finish off the card. so I did. Hope you like it.

Love is like butterfly...Justrite #115

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello friends...

Last week I got few new Justrite Stamps from their 2014 release along with my Justrite wins. I was so excited to try my hands on Rose Postcard Background Stamp. I gave it a try and hand painted it with distress inks and  designed one more card for Justrite Challenge #115 ..Spring Cheer.
I used three stamped images...the top one is fussy cut and painted with distress inks, second one cut with Spellbinder's Labels Seventeen and third one just distressed using vintage photo and torn d edges to make a base for my top two layers. I also used Majestic Elements Labels Twenty Five and Butterfly Circles and made multiple layers for the card. I made a pocket for secret tags which holds sentiments from Winged Vintage Labels Two and Three.

Here is the complete look with few of its close-ups..

I have painted one extra butterfly .

Really really loved the sentiment the sentiment. I was just perfect for the theme of my card.

Can you see the dimensions i created by adding extra fussy cut layer of flowers.

Do leave few words of love if you liked my card. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello friends !!
Its March n Spring has already arrived. We all here in India are enjoying cool breeze after intense cold. The music is in air, birds are singing n the trees are looking fresh and lovely after regaining their lost leaves.Trees in the spring present beautiful feast to our eyes
The sight of green and yellow fields fills our hearts with hope. My today's card is specially designed keeping the Spring Cheer theme for challenge #115 of Justrite Stampers in mind.

Here is what I have come up with.

I have used Spellbinders Nestabilities Die - Tapestry die and Timeless Rectangles to create the card base. The flowers are from Sunflowers Vintage Labels Five. I have stamped three separate images to create this beautiful bunch.

The flowers are colored using distress inks and fussy cut and the sentiment is from Timely Banners from Justrite.

I was not sure about the final looks of the card when I started this card....but was quite happy with the end results. Hope you like it.

Good Luck Card

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello crafty friends !!

"You can learn new things at any time in your life if you're willing to be a beginner. If you actually learn to like being a beginner, the whole world opens up to you"

How true it is..!!

I was totally new to paper craft...then new to blogging ....then new to card making....then new to digis...andddd still new to so many of my new crafty things that I bought recently.

OMG....can't believe how I reached here. Everything was so new.

Life is a continuous learning process and thank God I am blessed with a will power to learn at every step.

Today I am here to share my new inspiration card that I specially designed as a Dt for Color Conception Challenge Blog and Time4Scrap. This is my third try on painting digis. Hope u like it.

The theme is Saint Patrick's Day at Time4 Scrap.

Aww......now this was totally new to me....didn't knew what this day means??

I googled it down and got to know that this is an Irish festival which is falling on 17th of March and means good luck to Guinness!! However, its true meaning is as a time-honored day for spiritual regeneration and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide. To celebrate this they wear all greens and teals. That is the reason why I only used shades of greens and teal to paint my digi. I have blended distress inks and pencil colors (Stedtlers). After painting the digi I have added a little glittery touch to all leaves in the background and butterflies with my new new new Wink of Stella pens. The painted card panel was looking so attractive that I left the flowers unpainted and gave a single layer on flowers and added a small crystal on top.

Here are the pictures with few close-ups...

The pictures were taken early in the morning....so could not catch the proper shine of Stella Glitters.

So, Isn't it amazing trying on new themes every time.....new color combos and new products.

For me...it's always learning.
So,What are You all waiting for!!

Visit the following blogs and get inspired by amazing work by our Dt's and join us on brand new challenges on Color Conception Challenge blog (Glam With Glitter)  and Time4 Scrap Challenge Blog (St. Patrick's Day)
