ALBUM...Heartfelt Creation's Classic Sunflower Collection

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello all,
Continues second post in a day!!
Creating a blog or updating it with your pending posts...whatever it is...Will be helpful in keeping me consistent and moving forward With my blog. Though I am on rest but I am happy and fully enjoying it. At least I m connected to my craft world and getting enough time to update my blog.
I am here to showcase creation that I made few months back for one of my client. It was posted on my timeline and my facebook page on 6th of July 2015.
I tried my hands on an album using Heartfelt Creation's Classic Sunflower Collection. Oh.....I love this collection. Sunflowers are my all time favourites and their fresh n vibrant colors always tempt me to create more. The inside of the album has all flip fold pages designed by me.

Here is the front of the album...

The spine is 3 1/2" and looks gorgeous with HC designer paper.

Front cover all textured and layered created using various mixed media techniques.

Love love love this flower....so fresh n vibrant.

Bunch of charms hanging down the spine tied with matching seemed binding ribbon.

Another sunflower. Now this one is made using classic sunflower flower die and stamp from Heartfelt Creations.. It takes little time and hardwork to design a new project but I am always satisfied with the end results. Its actually worth taking that pains.

Thanks for stoping by. Do leave some love if you liked my project.

Hugs :)

ALBUM....Heartfelt Creation's Peacock Paisley Collection

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello  all...

Carving out time daily for blogging when life is full enough daily. Its something that is really true for all. Then why me not able to blog.??

I work full time,
I have children at home ,
I barely get enough time to dress up, alone has to handle my projects, my kitchen and my pets,
I am dependent on my kids for editing pictures and photography.....aww these are just excuses.
I got it....believe me. If I have made the blog that means I have already started. So I need not have any excuses to not continue it regularly. I myself have to figure out a way to fit in it.

I have hundreds of my creations that I have posted on my facebook page which always wanted and waited to get blogged here. I have decided to post all one by one daily to make my blog move. When asked someone suggested me to share my creations in back dates...but NO.....I won't. Let them be published on the genuinne dates only. It would be a big reminder for me with every post that I really have to be regular in blogging now.

So, today I m here with not my latest post....but with my back post that is delayed by seven months. Now a days I am not well...have continous pain in my lower abdomen due to kidney stone. Doctors asked me to take little rest. Isn't it a gud opportunity to keep my blogger friends updated about what they missed while resting side by side. Lolzz
I swear...we crafters know how to take out full advantage of time. Its ok if I m not creating anything new but yes...at least I am connecting to my craft anyway 😀😏

Enough chatting....now on to my project.
I am sharing an album created with Heartfelt Creation Peacock Paisley Collection.
Here are few detailed pictures.

Let me show you first how it looks from the front.
Lots n lots of work hun!!

The glittered photo tags looks amazing and have photo mat on both the sides.

The tags are distressed using rangers peacock feather and peeled paint distress inks and stamped with HC Peacock Paisley Stamp.

Pretty pretty bunch of charms hanging down the spine which is dry embossed and decorated using Inkagold. I have added bead tessels also to add little more beauty to the bunch.

.Handmade flowers created using HC Delightful Daisy flower die and its cordinating stamp.

I hope you enjoyed the project as much as I enjoyed making it.
I would appreciate if you leave some love.
Thanks for dropping by.
Hugs :)

Captured.....Dusty Attic

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello all!!!

Once again, i am here posting for Dusty Attic board to inspire you all. Before I start with the new project I want to thank you all for such a beautiful and warm welcome. I really appreciate the effort of those who specially took time and left their beautiful comments here on the blog and facebook.

On to my today's project...
My kids love taking "selfies" but I am type of a person that personally hate clicking. But I love love love collecting pictures that they click. Perhaps I can give you a deeper psychological explanation. Our time on this earth only lasts for so long, and a camera allows us to preserve memories far past when they might have slipped our mind. It helps us pass those memories into the hands of future generations. Our photos are little legacies of the life we have led – our travels, experiences, food, family, friends, work relationships and more. Each photo is a window into a moment, and the collections of images we take over the years are a window into who we were and what we valued. Ultimately it comes down to a simple truth....seeing that moment captured makes us genuinely happy.

I generally preserve pictures by creating an art piece....be it in my journal page or a frame. For me my daughter is the only model. Hehehe....Oh I love her.!! Love her innocent face n decent smile. Having daughters is one of the greatest joys we could imagine....Isn't it ??
Here is my take on February's Mood board with her picture only.

I used Blue Fern Studio papers from Sanctuary and Timeless collection to build up this piece.
Here are few close-ups...
I got huge collection  of Dusty Attic Chippies in my Dt pack which includes a bunch of dangles and pieces that are just a MUST for any chipboard enthusiast like me. Look at those in the picture.....just GORGEOUS!!

Oh I love that  #Chandallier 2 and Ornate Pendant #4. I first primed them with white gesso and then painted with Dusty in Color Jungle Green, Dusty in Color Oceania and Dusty in Color Alabaster.

Sprinkle of clear rock candy glitter and blings are adding little more artistic look to the pendants.

I added have added texture using  Dusty Attic Texture paste with Knitting Stencil on the lower side of the frame.
Word " Captured" is from word pack #34,simply painted with all the three shades.
Word "Awesome" is taken from word pack #33 and heat embossed using custome made glittered heat embossing powder.

I have created a bunch of flowers using few Prima twigs, mulberry Lillies and a blue heartfelt creation flower made by me. DA 1399, Seagrass #2 and Laura leaves are adding finishing touch to the whole embellished cluster.

Here are few more shots of the art piece....

Laural leaf
Doodads DA 1399

While I was making the above piece I was left with custom made glittered heat embossing powder. I just thought of using it on other chipboards and here is the quick card as a bonus inspiration for you all.  I have added lots of colors that don't match our February Mood Board but If its bonus....anything iwe get is just great. Isn't it ??

So here is my bonus inspiration for you all.

Background is all created using different shades of Dusty in Color
, lots of stamping and heat embossing here and there and the chippies heat embossed with glittered heat embossing powder. Bird is stamped and simply painted using Steadtler watercolor pencils. Hope you like it.

Oh....I lam in love with that glittered chippies. I have used the smaller size of Vintage frame #4 and placed it side ways...as that was the demand of my project.

Look at that gorgeous shades of Dusty in color.....Yummy enough to be used more frequently.

All flowers are handmade...simply punched and embossed.

Just an inspiration today

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello all...
Today I m here not to share any of my creation here but want to share little experience of my life. It might help anyone in anyway.

People ask me often....How can u be so positive always?? Have you ever tried to give up??
So here is my reply.
All days are not same for everyone. Also days are not positive every time...and not negative always too.  Bad breaks don't just strike once, they strike repeatedly, until you find yourself against a plate of nachos at the end of a rough day.
Agree or not....but this is the story of we all. I am the part of same story. Ups and downs, more downs and then slight ups...and then few higher ups. All was possible because of my positive attitude. My positivity gave me a move every time.
Its all about taking steps. However, I have seen in my own life that each step, no matter how small, gets the momentum moving, and that's what it's all about. No step is small. Sure, certain actions will make a bigger impact than others. Obviously, bigger the step.higher is the response.

When I first moved to Paper Crafting that too when I was in my 40's,I barely knew any crafter. But I was intentional about wanting to meet people. So I took a bunch of small steps. Introduction to facebook, Google and You-tube. Hours and hours of surfing on net. I tried saying YES to every craft that came my way. I took risk of my money and invested a gud amnt in expensive craft supplies even if I was not known to d proper use of it. Just my confidence...my positive nature thinking..."Haath mein tools hongey to chala to mein apne aap loongi" ( if I get tools in my hands I will surely manage to make use of them too ). Quilling gave me a break and card making took me little more higher. And with each small step, I made more and more friends along the way.

So when I was mot able to figure out how to create the big step, I just took the little one, followed by another.
Though the very first step was he hardest one which took me nearly 6 months to decide. From crafting to manufacturing and from manufacturing to crafing again....loosing loved ones...with young kids n lots of health issues....it was really really tough...but not IMPOSSIBLE.

Everything counted....every single thing!!
Each trial counted and each failure counted too....few waiting for me to re-do. Few were appreciated by u all and few are still lying incomplete. I always try to give little reward to myself for taking that FIRST STEPS. I always give respect and reward to all the efforts that my parents take who are always there to support me when I m out for my workshops...always reward and love my kids and pets, for adjusting so well in my absence....always reward you and your likings for my creations ....your appreciations....everything things are adding up like currency. Who all left me in between my walk and who all came along....all counts. Every little thing is shifting inside me and now its building a whole new world around me. Just a small thinking of being positive and always expecting positive made me move so long.

NEVER STOP.....JUST MOVE ON !!
LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE !!
