Heartfelt Creation Albums Taught in Mumbai

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Time to update my blog again. So many posts from facebook are still waiting for their turn to be blogged here. 5 months back I had an opportunity to organize my craft workshops in 4 major cities of India....Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. I was so excited as I got 9 spnsors for my workshops. Crafters were so excited and so do I. I also organized crafters meets in all the four cities. Meeting enthusiastic crafters, teaching them and replying to their queries was a big learning process for me. In this post of mine I m sharing my experience as a teacher with Mumbai crafters only.

This post was already shared on my fb page and my timeline on 23rd of August 2016.

Continuous 20 days and nights of hardwork has resulted in beautiful creations in Mumbai. This experience had been a great roller coaster ride. Working with like minded and hard working fellow crafters has ignited the already lit creative spark in me. These great minds helped me create projects with new themes and colour combonations. Never knew that I would fall in love with a city like this? Here's to MUMBAI. A city that has made me grow both as a student and as a teacher. And that's because of all the amazing and hardworking crafters I've met here. For the first time in my life, I was not alone when I was working on a craft project at 3:00 AM. I had 10-15 different minds working on it with me! When we started I had no idea how the end product would look! Thank you fellow Crafters for trusting me and believing in my work.

Here is the peek to fe of the creations taught in Mumbai Workshop.
Besides the albums that I made as a sample many more new albums were created. From construction of the album to decoration and all inside flip folds and flowers were made on the spot by crafters. No ready kits were provided in the workshop.

Creating similar products is easy compared to what I experienced this time. Different eyes viewed various themes...they all had different color combos in mind and differnt which was challenging but lots of fun. Thank you God for blessing me with this creative mind and for surrounding me with innovative Crafters. Once again, I would like to thank every one in Mumbai for helping me make my workshop a great success.

  1. Hats off to your creativity Mam! These albums are looking fabulous! There are no words to express their beauty :) Congratulations on the great success of your workshops. Crafters are fortunate to learn from you & it's a wonderful experience to view and learn from other crafters too and to work together, because each one is born with a unique creative mind! Lots of happy memories to cherish!
