Scenic beauty with Stampscapes

Posted by Rajni Chawla

Hello friends !!

Today after so so long I m here again with my new creation. These days i m more enjoying my outstation workshops...so totally packed.
Firstly, wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Its time to bid a  good bye to year gone and welcome the new year. Its time to rock and roll with friends and family !! Wish them joy and special wishes with our handmade Scenic Cards.

DIE CUTS N MORE recently introduced Stampscape Rubber Stamps in India. These stamps are made with deeply etched natural red rubber which is the most durable and gives the best impressions. You can create your own landscapes using individual, interchageable elements from natre. Also, you can combine them to style seamless scenes of cascading waterfalls, intimate quite pools of crystal clear water.breathtaking panoramic views, vally floors where the lupine and poppy grow wild, pristine lakes where the fish are practically jumping to be caught, and sumtouous snsets in golden hues.

This is my very first try with these stamps. I was totally confused while buying as I was tempted badly with its huge variety  of landscapes, mountains, waterfalls, sky scenes, cloud bars, trees, branches, people, animal images. It was really fun using these stamps and i was amazed to see such detailed images and the end product was just.....WOW!!

When I was googling down the tutorials of using Stampscape stamps I found a blog named Silverwolf Cards and found a wonderful starting up tutorial. Shaz Brooks idea of stamping images on tranparency with black stazon was great help in building up all scenes.Various Stampscape tutorials are also available on you-tube channel.

You can add colour by using a Colorbox Stylus tool,or cut & dry foam.
You can stamp your image onto card that you have coloured first, either by sponging, brayering, stippling or spraying. I am not going to give directions for these, rather I will again point you to the Stampscapes site, where you will find dozens of video and pictorial 'How-To's', all done far better than I could. You will also find a number of videos on You-Tube.

Here is what I came up with...Hope you like it.
